APA sponsored journal publishes, "On Minimizing Risk and Harm in the Use of Psychedelics." Kristin Nash, MPH, and others contributed to the consensus paper focused on harm reduction, research gaps, and post-psychedelic support.

On February 11, 2025, Psychiatric Research & Clinical Practice, an open access journal from the American Psychiatric Association, published the article: “On Minimizing Risk and Harm in the Use of Psychedelics.” Executive director of the William G. Nash Foundation, Kristin Nash MPH, along with twenty-nine other researchers, contributed to this article, which focuses on identifying existing gaps in psychedelic research and potential harms. The authors then propose solutions that focus on bolstering harm reduction, funding and continuing research, and offering evidence based, best practice support for psychedelic use.
